PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphate-based investment for dental use which contains a dispersant for improving the dispersibility of a binder powder and an aggregate power, prevents the aggregation of the binder powder with the aggregate power, can smoothly form the wall surfaces of spaces in molds, enables the production of dental cast articles having smooth surfaces, and makes it possible to use many kinds of aggregate powders not limited only to quarts, cristobalite and tridymite. SOLUTION: This phosphate-based investment for dental use comprising a kneading liquid and a mixture powder material comprising an aggregate powder and a phosphate-based binder powder is characterized by adding an alkali metal phosphate to at least one of the mixture powder material and the kneading liquid.
