PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air conditioner having a filter accomplishing an air conditioner unit of low pressure loss and low noise by making air speed distribution of air flowing into a heat exchanger uniform and rectified. SOLUTION: The structure of the filter 170 having an air-blowing fan 120 and the heat exchanger 130 arranged adjacent to a left/right direction of the vehicle and arranged on a front surface on an upstream side of air stream of the heat exchanger in which the air stream from the fan passes through the heat exchanger so as to change a direction by approximately 90°is formed such that flow resistance of the filter is gradually varied relative to the air speed of air passing through the filter. Thereby, the air speed distribution of air passing through the heat exchanger is made uniform. In this case, a folded pleat pitch P of the pleat-folded filter or crest height h of the folded pleat is changed in a manner of a plurality of steps or non-step. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
