PRE-PROCESSING CLEANING OF PRE-PRINTED DOCUMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove an amino functional group remover hindering following document processing such as encoding of magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) data onto the document from a specific region of pre-printed documents. SOLUTION: The amino functional group remover is removed from at least a region of the pre-printed document (100) and cleaned (102), thereafter the data after processing are recorded (108) in the cleaned region using an MICR encoder without accompanying the problem by the amino functional group remover.
