PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas concentration detector capable of being reduced in size and reduced in cost, and to provide a fuel cell system. SOLUTION: The gas concentration detector is equipped with a catalytic gas sensor and a non-catalytic gas sensor, both of which detect the concentration of the gas to be detected that can exist in a gaseous space. The catalytic gas sensor and the non-catalytic gas sensor are constituted so as to be used concurrently for detecting common element arranged in the gaseous space for detecting the concentration of the gas to be detected.
