PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump by which residual solid food is finely cut and mixed into washing water or contaminated water so as to easily pass through a dishwasher, and smoothly discharged with the contaminated water to the outside the dishwasher. SOLUTION: The pump 1 for the dishwasher includes a motor portion 10 rotatably disposed with a rotator 12 having a magnetic body 13 along the inner periphery of a stator 11, and a pump portion 30 having a water inlet 31, washing water delivery port 32, and a contaminated water outlet 33, with an impeller 40 connected to the rotator 12 disposed so as to face an opening portion of the water inlet 31. In the pump 1, a plurality of cutting blades 42 rotating with the impeller 40 and disposed in the form of the impeller are provided so as to be protruded from blades 41 of the impeller 40 and face the opening of the water inlet 31.
