The engine has synchronized bucket wheels for obtaining spatial isochoric combustion in a pressure cell (37). An initial value of rotational speed that is zero and an inclination value of a linear function are assigned to torque, engine output and specific fuel consumption. The initial value belonging to the torque and the fuel consumption and inclination value of the linear function belonging to the engine output are cleared. Bucket wheel engines include a compressor (1) and an operating part that are separated from each other and are connected with the pressure cell in an operating process. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a gasket system for a heat engine (2) a method for operating a heat engine.
