The converter (1) has a turbine (37) and a torsion damper (17), which includes a sheet plate (44) facing the turbine and another sheet plate turned away from the turbine. A third sheet plate (46) is elastically supported by helical compression springs (14, 47) in a circumferential direction opposite to the other two plates. The latter plate has circumferential stops (75) that protrude with circumferential tolerance via a window. Extensions (100) protruding via recesses (5b) of the plate (44) and the turbine deform against each other between turbine sided axial stops (15) and sections (13). An independent claim is also included for a procedure for producing a hydrodynamic torque converter.
