PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type heating apparatus capable of effectively utilizing intermediate temperature water in a hot water storage tank for heating, and moreover, improving COP. SOLUTION: The hot water storage type heating apparatus for indoor heating comprises a heating means 3 for heating hot and cold water in the hot water storage tank 2 to a high temperature; a high-temperature water supply tube 7 for supplying a heating heat exchanger 4 with high-temperature water from a hot water discharge port 6 at the upper part of the hot-water storage tank 2; a primary circulation circuit 11, comprising a primary-side circulation pump 9 for returning warm water lowered in temperature after heat exchange, to the hot-water storage tank 2 from a return port 8 at the lower part of the hot-water storage tank 2 through a return tube 10; and a secondary circulation circuit 16, comprising a secondary side circulating pump 17 radiating a heating medium heated passing through the heating heat exchanger 4, by a heating radiator 5 and then recirculating the heat medium to the heating heat exchanger 4. The hot-water storage type heating apparatus also comprises a tube 19 communicating with a takeout port 18, and a connection part between the takeout tube 19 and the high-temperature water supply tube 7 is provided with a selector valve 20 for switching the takeout of hot water between the hot water discharge port 6 and the takeout port 18 to attain excellent heating and improvement of COP.
