摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing circuit capable of correcting a fixed noise, a flaw such as a pixel defect, and a random noise without degrading in the resolution. SOLUTION: The signal processing circuit includes: a rearrangement circuit 35; an edge detection circuit 39; a flaw correction circuit 36; a noise reduction circuit 37; and a weighting adder circuit 38. The rearrangement circuit extracts homochromatic pixels among a correction object pixel and its surrounding pixels and rearranges the homochromatic pixels in the order of levels. The edge detection circuit extracts vertical and horizontal edge components from a video signal of the pixels and summates the components to detect an edge of the image. The flaw correction circuit corrects white and black flaws and the noise reduction circuit carries out median filter processing. The weighting adder circuit summates outputs of the circuits 36, 37, 39 by adding a weight of the output of the flaw correction circuit 36 when a difference of signal levels of the pixels is greater and summates outputs of the circuits 36, 37, 39 by adding a weight of the output of the noise reduction circuit 37 when the difference of the signal levels of the pixels is smaller.
