<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate problems in a conventional system where documents, image data, management information of apparatus, and the like, held in other image processor or management device connected through a network cannot be accessed. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor installs a remote file access function in an MFP so that a file such as a document held by a server MFP can be accessed using other MFP connected through a network as a server. An MFP on the client side is provided with a button 151 for selecting that function on an operating panel 150, obtains the file information of a specified address from the server MFP through user authentication at start-up, and displays a folder configuration 152f, a document file 152c in a folder, and the preview 152v of a document as document information 152i on a GUI operating screen. Processing on the client side can be set by specifying a file to be accessed, and operating a set key 152k of file data processing mode of a document copy, a printer, and the like, for copying the file. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
