<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that reduces time from turning on of a main power supply to a fixing control start for reducing warm-up time. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus reads an original, forms an image through a writing optical system, and transfers and fixes the image on a recording medium of paper fed. The apparatus is constituted so that it can turn on/off a trigger signal of a relay 28 and a trigger signal of a triac 29 by turnable hardware of a fixing heater 13 capable of lighting, even during the period from turning on of the main power supply of an apparatus body till the software thereof becomes controllable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
