PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability and to reduce camera shake at low cost without adding a shake detection and correction system. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 includes a first switch 11 for starting preparation for photographing and a second switch 12 that becomes an actual photography trigger and if the lapse of time from operation of the first switch 11 to operation of the second switch 12 is longer than a set time T, the time from the operation of the second switch 11 to start of photography is delayed for a prescribed time.
