PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for preventing degradation in quality of a print image incident to adjustment of color conversion parameters in image formation processing. SOLUTION: The image processor comprises a section 104 for acquiring information about alteration if first intensity setting information for specifying the intensity to be expressed using a color material is altered when a color which can be expressed only with a color material of black is printed, a section 104 for calculating information about second intensity setting information for specifying the intensity to be expressed using a color material when a color which can be expressed with a plurality of color materials is printed such that an image having the substantially same intensity as that of an image printed using altered first intensity setting information can be printed based on altered information acquired at the altered information acquiring section, and a section 105 for altering the setting content of the second intensity setting information based on the information calculated at the calculating section 104.
