TRAPEZOIDAL-CORRUGATION STRIP CROSS CUTTING METHOD

FIELD: metal cutting processes and equipment, possibly cross cutting of corrugated strips. ^ SUBSTANCE: method is designed for cross cutting corrugated strips with thickness 3 - 5 mm. Method comprises steps of successively cutting horizontal apexes and lateral inclined members of corrugations by means of tool with lateral edges. Lateral edges of tool are inclined by angle 27' - 32' relative to horizon. Successive cutting is started from horizontal apexes of corrugations. Then lateral edges of tool are embedded into strip at its lateral edges in direction to its mean lengthwise line.
