The invention relates to a quick coupling comprising a male connector (3) and a female element (2). The invention also comprises a retaining bolt (20) which is used to retain the connector (5) in the female element (7) and which can move between a first position, in which the bolt (20) can retain the connector (5) at a first depth inside the female element (7) such that it is connected thereto by means of a tight joint, and a second position, in which the bolt (20) can retain the male connector (5) at a second depth which is smaller than the first depth. The bolt (20) is configured such that it is at least partially returned (F3) to the second position as a result over an overpressure in a downstream line purge passage (4, 17, 26, 34), said purge passage (4, 17, 26, 34) being open when the connector is at the second depth. In one embodiment of the invention, the coupling comprises an adapter which can be retained by the bolt. |
