An ink for forming a black matrix without frit on a front substrate of a plasma display panel is provided to reduce a material loss and process time by using an organo-sol ink. An organo-sol ink is made of a saturated or unsaturated fatty acid metal of a ring having a carbon number of 2 to 21 and a 1 to 3 carboxyl group, and an organic solvent residual. The organo-sol ink is used for forming a non-frit metal oxide pattern on a glass substrate. Hydrogen of the fatty acid is substituted with 1 to 15 fluorine. The fatty acid metal is defined by (CF3)n (CH2)m (CH)l(COO-)x Coy, wherein n=0 to 3, m=0 to 15, l=0 to 3, x=1 to 3, and y=x/2. The fatty acid metal is fatty acid cobalt, hydrogen of the fatty acid cobalt is substituted with 1 to 9 fluorine, and the metal oxide pattern is a black matrix.
