An array substrate, an LCD using the same and a method for fabricating the array substrate are provided to prevent a defect of data line and a line dim defect caused by static electricity by preventing static electricity introduced through a test pad formed in a display area of a liquid crystal panel from being introduced up to the data line. A substrate includes a display region(111) including a switching device, and a non-display region(112) including a driving circuit of the switching device at a peripheral portion of the display region. A gate line(122) is formed in the display area and the non-display area of right and left portions of the substrate. A data line(142) and a test pad(150) are formed in the display region and the non-display region on the substrate, and are spaced apart from each other. A data driver IC(integrated circuit)(140) has first and second output ends electrically connected to the data line and the test pad, and is formed in the non-display region on the substrate. |
