A SUPPORT STAND FOR EVAPORATOR AND AN AIR CONDITIONER COMPRISING THEREOF

A supporting stand for a heat exchanger and an air conditioner having the same are provided to assemble a heat exchanger into a casing of an indoor unit easily in a short time by using the supporting stand and distribute weight of the heat exchanger to increased parts for improving supporting force for the heat exchanger. An air conditioner includes a casing(1), a heat exchanger(15) mounted in the casing, and a supporting stand(30) held by the casing for fixing and supporting the heat exchanger to the casing. The casing has an extension part(20) folded inward the casing and extended further, and the supporting stand has an insertion part(32) to be inserted by the extension part. A heat exchange supporting plate(34) is screw-coupled with an upper part of the heat exchanger part and connected to the insertion part by a connection plate(36). The casing has a top plate, which is coupled with the insertion part and the extension part by screws(44).
