PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidity control system dispensing with water supply, the humidity control system dispensing with drainage, or the humidity control system capable of switching humidification and dehumidification. SOLUTION: This humidity control device comprises a desiccant rotor 22 wherein air flowing in an adsorption zone 22a and air flowing in a regeneration zone 22b form almost counterflow; a refrigerating cycle 24 comprising a compressor 30, an evaporator 36 and a condenser 32; a first air passage 16 allowing air led into the system, to flow through the evaporator 36 of the refrigerating cycle 24 and the adsorption zone 22a of the desiccant rotor 22 in this order to cool and dehumidify the air to recover moisture from the air and then to carry out adsorption dehumidification; and a second air passage 18 allowing air led into the system, to flow through the condenser 32 of the refrigerating cycle 24 and the regeneration zone 22b of the desiccant rotor 22 in this order and then adding moisture recovered in the first air passage to humidify the air.
