PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display method, a display medium, and a display element, capable of attaining coloring over a wide range in the visible light region. SOLUTION: By forming an electric field in an electrolyte layer consisting of an electrolytic solution containing metal ions at least, a predetermined image is displayed through a deposition process in which the metal ions in the electrolyte layer are deposited as polygon metal particles.
