PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal valve which eliminates the need for energization to a heater executed during a valve opening period so as to totally reduce a power consumption required during this period, by extending an actuation part of a thermally-actuated element through the energization to a heater, and thereby forcing an opening/closing valve moving to a valve opening position in the valve opening position by a mechanical means. SOLUTION: A clutch mechanism B, which alternatively repeats actuations for locking a clutch disk 2 in a pushed position by pushing a movable clutch receiver 1 and clutch disk 2 in a pushing direction by pushing and for releasing the lock of the clutch disk 2 by a following pushing operation and restoring the clutch disk 2 to the previous position, is interposed between an actuation part a of a thermally-actuated element A and an opening/closing valve V. The clutch mechanism B is linked with respect to the actuation part (a) of the thermally-actuated element A and opening/closing valve V so that the clutch disk 2 is pressed by an extending operation of the actuation part a of the thermally-actuated element A to actuate the opening/closing valve V to the valve opening position by the pressing operation of the clutch disk 2.
