<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw actuator with a long life, which constantly supplies a sufficient lubricant into a screw groove of a ball screw. <P>SOLUTION: A ball screw shaft 3 and screw nut 4 are arranged in an approximately cylindrical housing 7. A projected section 7e is arranged above the ball screw shaft 3 in the housing 7. The projected section 7e is set up to be a thick-walled top section in which its pointed head is extended downward, its thick-wall of the projected section becomes gradually thinner from the top section to both sides, and the projected section 7e is arranged within a stroke range of the ball screw nut 4. The lubricant splashed from the screw shaft 3 by centrifugal force is supplied along both sides of the projected section 7e again on the ball screw shaft 3 as shown by the arrow mark in the drawing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
