PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof cap of an ultrasonic signal connector of an ultrasonic endoscope which allows a user to remove an O-ring easily by the fingertip from an O-ring mounting groove formed on an outer peripheral surface of a part near an open end and to exchange it. SOLUTION: The waterproof cap 20 of an ultrasonic signal connector of an ultrasonic endoscope covers a plurality of electric contacts in a water-tight fashion when the ultrasonic signal connector is not connected to an ultrasonic signal controller. The O-ring mounting groove 24 for receiving the elastic O-ring 23 detachably is formed in an annular fashion and extends around the outer peripheral surface near the open end 20a.
