<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bio-deodorization system capable of stably keeping a deodorization performance for a long period of time without causing a temporary deterioration of the deodorization performance by taking a preventive measure of clogging before the clogging substantially appears due to the deposition of extra sludge and the like in the packed bed of a loading tower and a method for washing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The bio-deodorization system is provided with a gas introducing port 21, a gas discharging port 23, the loading tower 20 having the packed bed 24 filled with a microorganism supporting filler and a sprinkler 25, a water pump P that supplies water in a water storage tank 32 to the sprinkler 25, a blowing fan F that supplies an odorous gas in a deodorizing chamber 37 to the port 21, and a control device 40 that sequentially controls the water pump P and the blowing fan F in accordance with a preset control schedule.
