PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carton unsealing device which can be easily unsealed even with one hand alone, and eliminates the risk of a failure by virtue of a simple constitution as well as the risk of causing injury because an edge portion is ordinarily concealed. SOLUTION: Characteristically, this carton unsealing device for unsealing the carton with roof-shaped slopes and a meeting portion continuing from the roof-shaped slopes comprises a carton holding portion which is equipped with a rail portion with a meeting-portion insertion groove subject to the insertion of the meeting portion, and a cutter portion which holds an edge member capable of cutting the roof-shaped slopes by being engaged with the vicinity of the meeting portion of the roof-shaped slopes and which can travel on the rail portion.
