PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonmetal flowing-water type electroless conductive sensor capable of detecting the conductivity of a liquid flowing through piping, and to provide a leak detector. SOLUTION: The nonmetal flowing-water type electroless conductive sensor is equipped with the water-distributing pipes of primary and secondary process fluid flowing routes for forming a fluid loop. The water-distributing pipes installed in the fluid loop are surrounded by at least one driving annular body and one detecting annular body, and voltage is applied to the driving annular body so as to induce a current in the detecting annular body, without requiring the metal electrode to come into contact with the process fluid flowing through the fluid loop. At least either of the driving annular body or the detecting annular body is arranged to the fluid loop so as to intensify the induction of the current. Optionally, at least one detection coil is arranged at the periphery of the water-distributing pipes, installed outside of the fluid loop so as to eliminate stray electrical noise. The leak of a fluid is detected by a change in the resistance of the conductor that can be installed along the water-distributing pipes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
