<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading/recording apparatus constituted by movably mounting a reading unit for reading out a document on a recording unit for recording an image in a recording medium and capable of reducing the size of the apparatus and improving the operability of normal operation. <P>SOLUTION: In the image reading/recording apparatus, the reading unit 1 for reading out an image of a document is movably mounted to the recording unit 2 for recording the image in the recording medium.
