<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner forming no scumming image and giving a clear image having satisfactory image density, to provide a toner giving an image having a proper and uniform gloss, to provide a toner giving an image free from image roughness particularly in a halftone portion to provide a toner forming no agglomerate in a toner bottle and a developing unit and causing no image untransfer phenomenon in a portion where an agglomerate is present, to provide a toner not sticking to a polyvinyl chloride mat, etc., and to further provide a toner with good producibility. <P>SOLUTION: In a dry electrophotographic toner consisting essentially of a colorant and a binder resin, the binder resin comprises a) an epoxy resin, b) a dihydric phenol and c) a polyol resin having a polyoxyalkylene moiety in the principal chain synthesized by reacting an alkylene oxide adduct of a dihydric phenol with a polyvalent carboxylic acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
