PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide resin shaped article which has excellent mechanical characteristics, optical characteristics and heat resistance and whose refractive index can largely be changed by the irradiation of light. SOLUTION: This polyimide resin shaped article comprising a polyimide compound containing aromatic acid anhydride units and diamine units as polymer units, characterized by spatially distributing portions having aromatic amine atom groups and portions not having the aromatic amine atom groups on the side chains of the polyimide compound to have the distribution of the refractive indexes. |
