Glazed assembly

Ventilation of a glazing assembly is provided by an elongate glazing component 3 having a ventilation channel 13, an inlet and an outlet. The inlet and outlet are arranged to allow air to flow through the ventilation channel 13 in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the glazing component. The ventilation channel 13 is open to air flow at at least one of its ends. Alternatively ventilation may be provided by a separate component provided solely for the purposes of ventilating. A lighting channel may also be provided in the component. A second ventilation channel 14 may be provided in the component. The component 3 may be capable of engaging with another glazing component 11 in the glazing assembly with a variable angle of attachment. The assembly may have a plurality of glazing components 3 with ventilation channels 13, 14 and the components 3 may be connected end to end so that their ventilation channels 13, 14 are connected.
