COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND METHOD USING HUMAN BODY

A communication device using a human body and a method thereof are provided to transmit wideband pulses through an electrode unit contacted with a human body in current type, thereby performing communication between two devices by using the human body as a communication channel. A modulation and multiplexing unit(510) modulates data. The first timing generator(515) generates the first timing signal by using the modulated data. A pulse generator(520) generates wideband pulses having short time intervals based on the first timing signal. An electrode unit(550) is contacted with a human body so that the wideband pulses are transmitted to the human body. The modulation and multiplexing unit(510) multiplexes the modulated data to distinguish users.
