A linear motion rolling guide device capable of linearly moving a movable member through rolling elements and a lens device having the linear motion rolling guide device. The linear motion rolling guide device comprises a guide member (2) having a linearly extended first guide groove (7) and fitting holes (11), the movable member (3) having a second guide grooves (8) linearly extended and facing the first guide groove (7) through a prescribed interval, a fixed member (4) holding the guide member (2), a rolling element unit (5) having a plurality of cylindrical rollers (14) rollingly interposed between the first guide groove (7) and the second guide groove (8), and a pair of leaf springs (6A) and (6B) imparting a pre-load to the rolling element unit (5) through the guide member (2) and the movable member (3). The fixed member (4) comprises fitting pins (22) connectable to the fitting holes (11) of the guide member (2), and the fitting holes (11) are formed of elongated holes increased in length in a direction orthogonal to a direction in which the first guide groove (7) is extended. Thus, a lens-barrel can be smoothly and stably moved linearly by imparting a proper pre-load to the rolling element unit.
