<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel accomplishing reliability and driving stability by eliminating the circumferential rattling of a bonded part and preventing looseness for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: In the bearing device for the vehicle, a hub wheel 1, a dual-row rolling bearing 2 and a constant velocity universal joint 3 are unitized, an inner ring 5 is fixed by a calking part 1c of a small diameter step 1b and a shaft 20 of an outer coupling member 14 is internally fitted to the hub wheel 1. A serration 13 comprising a taper-like generating line having a diameter gradually becoming small toward an outboard side is formed at the inner periphery of the hub wheel 1, a serration 21 engaged with the serration 13 is formed at the outer periphery of the shaft 20, and a male screw 22 is formed at the end of the shaft 20. A plurality of slots 23 and pin holes 25 passing through an axis and penetrating in a radial direction are formed at the male screw 22 and a fixing nut 24 fastened to the male screw 22, respectively, and split pins 27 are fitted and inserted to the pin holes 25 and the slots 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
