The method involves incorporating a magnetic resonance (MR)-overview screen of a heart, where an image plane is selected with a predetermined position relative to a magnetic resonance system for the screen. The incorporated MR-overview screen is represented on a display unit (13), and a set of identification points is configured on the represented MR-overview screen by an input unit (14). Another image plane is computed by an image plane computing unit (15) for representing the heart using the configured identification points. A MR-image is incorporated in the computed image plane.
