摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring magnet securing structure of a rotor for enhancing the performance of a rotating machine represented by a motor, and to provide a motor for electric power steering. SOLUTION: In the ring magnet securing structure, a rotor shaft 21 and a ring magnet 23 can be held in an alignment state by means of an alignment sleeve 25, and a rotor 20 where the rotor shaft 21 and the ring magnet 23 are aligned can be manufactured. In a motor 10 having that rotor 20, an air gap 28 to the stator 11 can be made uniform in the circumferential direction and the magnetic characteristics (cogging torque, torque ripple, and the like) of the motor 10 can be enhanced. Furthermore, the motor 10 can be miniaturized by minimizing the air gap 28. Steering feeling of a vehicle can be enhanced by employing the motor 10 as the motor for electric power steering.
