PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor that adopts a vertical motor configuration, prevents a terminal block formed in the bobbin of a coil in one piece from interfering with the arrangement of a yoke, and can be reduced in diameter and size. SOLUTION: A coil 3 of an A-phase stator S1 and the coil 3 of a B-phase stator S2 are arranged to one axial side and the other, respectively, to a rotor 1. Inner and outer yoke plates 4 and 5 are sandwiched between the coils 3 of respective phases. An interdigital pole teeth 2 extending from these yoke plates 4, 5 toward the rotor 1 are aligned to be sandwiched in a circumferential direction and face the outer periphery of the rotor 1. An extended part 72 is provided at one of flanges 71 in a bobbin 7 of the coil 3 as a terminal block for leading winding. A hole 73 is provided at the extended part 72, and one of which the arrangement is at an agreement position in the lining-up row of the pole teeth 2 is allowed to pass through the hole 73. In the pole teeth 2, the tip is formed so that it projects, and the tips of the pole teeth 2 of both phases facing while surrounding the outer periphery of the rotor 1 are brought into contact each other for engagement, thus determining each position.
