PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an observation device and a picture display method for the observation device served for user's convenience by a simple system. SOLUTION: A custom menu icon 151 includes a full menu display/non-display button (F) 151B for selecting the display/non-display of a full menu icon 150, and a minimization iconification button (C) 151C for minimizing and iconifying the custom menu icon 151.
