<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface system using three-dimensional display that can implement various menu displays even in a small screen area for menu display. <P>SOLUTION: A computer system comprises a three-dimensional display device capable of displaying a plurality of objects at different depths in a three-dimensional space, and a pointing device capable of pointing different positions in the three-dimensional space by the control of a pointer so as to select one object from the plurality of objects. The computer is provided with means for displaying the plurality of selection items in different depth positions on the three-dimensional display device, and means for, when at least one item is selected from the plurality of selection items to determine a processing method, detecting the movement of the pointer in the depth direction and, when a selection operation of the pointer is made in the same depth position as the selected item, selecting the item under the selection operation from the plurality of selection items. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
