PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester having an upper driving shaft pivoted at the upper part of a transferring elevator device of a reaper which receives and transfers reaped culm to the rear upper part so as to supply to a thresher, wherein reaped culm and the like to be transferred, which is conventionally twine around the upper driving shaft and, is prevented from twining. SOLUTION: The combine harvester is pivoted with left upper and right upper sprockets 14a and 14b on the left and right both sides of the upper parts in left and right supporting frames 12a and 12b provided on left and right both sides of the transferring elevator device 12, and an upper driving shaft 13a pivoted at the left upper and right upper sprockets 14a and 14b by the left and right supporting frames 12a and 12b, wherein circular and detachable left, right, and center twine preventing covers 15a, 15b and 15c covering the outer diameter of the shaft of the upper driving shaft 13a are provided on the left and right outside and the inside of the driving shaft 13a pivoting the left upper and right upper sprockets 14a and 14b.
