A receiving space and D.I.Y furniture using the same are provided to enable a user to constitute furniture having various shapes according to the user's taste or the constitution of a space. A receiving space is formed inside a receiving module(1), and the receiving module has a convex and concave portion on the outer surface thereof. The section of the each convex and concave part constituting the convex and concave portion is a triangular or a rectangular shape. The receiving module comprises first block and second blocks that have symmetrical shapes and divide the receiving space into two parts. The first module and the second module are detachable from each other. The first and second blocks are coupled by a coupling recess of the first block and a coupling protrusion of the second block.
