<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily select arbitrary items among a plurality of items while facilitating countermeasures to the multi-functionalization of an information processor. <P>SOLUTION: An item selector includes a distance calculation device to be used with a display device integrated touch panel for calculating the moving distance D of a designated part following an orbit 90 at the designated part of a position on the display device integrated touch panel based on position information acquired by sampling the output of the display device integrated touch panel in a prescribed timing; a candidate selection device for selecting one of a plurality of items configuring a character group (A, I, U, E, O and so on) as the functions of the calculated moving distance D as a selection candidate; and an output device for outputting information for specifying the item selected by the candidate selection device when the output of the position information cannot be acquired from the display device integrated touch panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
