<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high heat exchange efficiency while forming an evaporator into simple structure to have a compact size. <P>SOLUTION: The evaporator 3 is composed of an evaporator body 17 of a closed hollow cylinder shape with the front end side made to communicate with a steam pipe 11 and with the rear end side connected to a liquid return pipe 15; a cylindrical wick 19 inserted inside in a range from the front end side to an intermediate part of the rear end side of the evaporator body 17; a groove 23 forming a steam passage 27 on the outer peripheral surface of the wick 19 in a range from the front end side to an intermediate part of the rear end side of the wick 19 by extending circumferentially an alternating uneven shape in a cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the wick 19, in the longitudinal direction of the wick 19; a grooveless part 25 integrated with the rear end of the groove 23 without forming the groove on the outer peripheral surface; a bayonet pipe 7 with the rear end side made to communicate with the liquid return pipe 15 and with the front end side inserted in a reservoir 9 and the wick 19 to supply a hydraulic fluid from the liquid return pipe 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
