PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring hemoglobin types using cation exchange chromatography, especially a measuring method of hemoglobin types capable of measuring stable hemoglobin A1c with high accuracy. SOLUTION: In the method of measuring hemoglobin types for measuring at least one kind of hemoglobin selected from among a group consisting of acetylated hemoglobin, carbamylated hemoglobin, unstable hemoglobin A1c, stable hemoglobin A1c, hemoglobin A, hemoglobin A2, hemoglobin S and hemoglobin C using the cation-exchange chromatography is used an elute with dissolved oxygen concentration of 2.5 mg/L or higher.
