CROSS DIPOLE ANTENNA AND TAG USING THE SAME

A cross dipole antenna and a tag using the same are provided to prevent the tag from getting bigger by offering a compact dipole antenna which is nearly an omni-directional antenna unaffected by a direction of the tag. A cross dipole antenna includes a pair of dipole antennas(1a,1b). The pair of dipole antennas include a line extended from a feeding point crossing each other, and a line broadened by a tripodal shape after bending the line. Each total length of the pair of dipole antennas is longer than 1/2lambda of a used wavelength lambda. Each of the pair of dipole antennas includes an extension part on the top of the line broadened by a tripodal shape. Impedance is controlled by length of the extension part.
