<p>A telephoto-type of zoom lens includes, in order from the object side, a first lens group (GR1) having a positive refractive power and fixed in position, a second lens group (GR2) having a negative refractive power and movable for zooming, a third lens group (GR3) having a positive refractive power and fixed in position, a fourth lens group (GR4) having a positive refractive power and movable in position for performing correction due to zooming and for focusing, and a fifth lens group (GR5) including a single lens fixed in position. Each of the lens groups from the third to the fifth (GR3-GR5) has a lens having an aspherical surface. Furthermore, the following inequalities are satisfied: f4/f5 < 0.12 and 0.9 < ²5 < 1.2 where f4 and f5 denote the focal lengths of the fourth and fifth lens group, respectively, and ²5 is the tansverse magnification of the fifth lens group.</p> |
