A nonhalogenated flame retardant thermoplastic resin composition is provided to improve flame retardancy, heat resistance and mechanical properties such as impact strength and to enhance environmental friendliness by preventing the generation of halogenated gas. A nonhalogenated flame retardant thermoplastic resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a base resin which comprises 20-90 parts by weight of a graft acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer resin which comprises 10-70 wt% of a butadiene-based rubbery polymer, 5-40 wt% of a cyanovinyl monomer, and 20-80 wt% of an aromatic vinyl monomer, and 10-80 parts by weight of a styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer resin which comprises 55-85 wt% of styrene, and 15-45 wt% of acrylonitrile; 1-30 parts by weight of a melamine-based flame retardant; and 1-20 parts by weight of a metal hydroxide.
