Disclosed is a process for the preparation of aqueous suspensions of fluid mineral matter, which are able to be pumped and conveyed by an end user immediately after a second filtration stage, optionally followed by a compression, with the use of small quantities of dispersant, and allowed control of the quantities of dispersant present in the filtrate, wherein the process comprises a filtration in two separate stages, operated continuously in relation to each other, optionally followed by a compression.
