PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide system for a station yard capable of reliably performing the path guidance to the train get-on position intended by a passenger or the path guidance after the passenger gets off the train by a simple operation of the train user side. SOLUTION: An information code label recording position information capable of specifying the place of installation and direction information capable of specifying the code reading direction is provided on a vertical surface of a pillar and a wall or the like at a plurality of parts facing a passage in a station yard. A storage unit 6 of a portable terminal 1 stores information on a get-on station defining the position relationship between the intended train get-on position and the place of installation of the information code label. Every time when a train user performs the information reading operation of the information code label by the portable terminal 1, a control circuit unit 2 calculates the guide direction in which the passenger should proceed based on the position information, the information for determining the direction, and the information on the get-on station, a display screen unit 5 displays the calculated guide direction, and outputs it in sound through a sound output unit 8 to inform it to the passenger.
