摘要 A scaffold for treating articular cartilage is provided to promote the cartilage generation rapidly and effectively due to be in vivo transplantable through a simple operation, increase the cartilage therapeutic effect by artificially generating calcified cartilage layer having a similar structure to that of a real cartilage and have the mechanical strength adequate for cell transplantation and cartilage regeneration. A scaffold for treating articular cartilage is made by seeding a porous scaffold consisting of a biodegradable polymer and calcium phosphate-based biocompatible ceramic with at least one cell selected from the group consisting of mesenchymal stem cells isolated from umbilical cord, amnion, or liquor amnii, progenitor cells derived from the mesenchymal stem cells and able to be differentiated into chondrocyte or osteocyte, chondrocytes and osteocytes differentiated from the mesenchymal stem cells and is characterized in that it induces the differentiation and proliferation of cells in vivo, wherein the biodegradable polymer is at least one selected from the group consisting of collagen, gelatin, chitosan, alginate, hyaluronic acid, dextran, poly(lactic acid), poly(glycolic acid)(PGA), poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA), poly(epsilon-carprolactone), poly(anhydrides), polyorthoesters, polyviniyalcohol, poly(ethyleneglycol), polyurethane, polyacrylic acid, poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide), poly(ethylene oxide)-poly(propylene oxide)-poly(ethylene oxide) copolymer, a copolymer thereof and a mixture thereof and the calcium phosphate-based biocompatible ceramic is selected from the group consisting of hydroxy apatite(Ca10(PO4)6OH2), fluorapatite, Ca3(PO4)2, Ca2P2O7, and Ca4P2O7.
