<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threaded container having a thread structure that excels in tightening feeling, is simple in structure, widely applicable, and inexpensive. <P>SOLUTION: The container has a container body with a threaded mouth, and a threaded cap screwed in the mouth. In this container, the width of the thread of the container body increases toward the final end of the thread, and the width of the thread of the final end of the screw is almost identical to that of a valley defined by the thread of the cap. Thus, slightly before the completion of the screwing of the cap in the mouth, closing resistance is applied to the cap such that closing resistance gradually increases.
